The Scientific Program and Abstract Session of the 3rd International Symposium on IgG4-RD & Fibrosis will include content related to the clinical, radiological, pathological and therapeutic aspects of IgG4-RD & fibrosis. The symposium will equally address both basic and translational research pertaining to these diseases.

We are no longer accepting abstract submissions for the upcoming 2017 International Symposium.

The deadline for abstract submissions was extended to 11:59 Eastern Standard Time (EST), December 31, 2016. Notifications of abstract acceptance are ongoing during the month of January, 2017.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Eligibility

Abstracts should describe original basic and clinical work pertaining to IgG4-RD and/or fibrosis.  You must agree to present your abstract in person should it be selected for oral or poster presentation.

Abstract Format

The abstract should be submitted using the online abstract submission form, which is accessible on this page. You will be required to create a username and password to access the submissions page. This username and password can be used to access your abstract submission at a later date. Important: The abstract submission word limit is 400 words – not including the title, authors’ names and affiliations, disclosures, or spacing. A word counter is supplied on the submission page.

Title/Authors

Your abstract title should be brief and should clearly indicate the name/topic of the presentation.  When listing authors for your abstract, no more than 25 individual authors should be named.  Please clearly identify the presenting author and contact information including email address.

Note: Please do not make reference to names or geographical locations within the body of your abstract.

Abbreviations

Please use standard abbreviations only.  When using special or unusual abbreviations, please place in parenthesis after the first time the full word appears.  Do not abbreviate compounds in the title of the abstract. Use numerals to express numbers except at the beginning of sentences.

Tables/Graphics

You may include no more than one table or graph with your abstract. Accepted formats include: jpeg, gif, png, bmp.

Responsibilities of the Presenting Author

The presenting author will be the sole point of contact for information regarding the submission and will be responsible for ensuring each co-author is aware and supportive of the content of the abstract. All presentations of abstracts are expected to be given in English.

Submission Deadline

All abstracts must be submitted using the online submission form.  The abstract submission deadline is: 11:59 Eastern Standard Time (EST), December 31, 2016.

Notice of Acceptance

The presenting author (as identified in the online submission form) will be contacted by a member of the Symposium organizing committee after December 31, 2016.
